Archdiocesan Handbell Choir & Cathedral Ringers

The Archdiocesan Handbell Choir meets every other Tuesday at 7:00 pm and performs for Archdiocesan events, Masses/events in the local community, and an occasional 5:00 p.m. Sunday Mass at the Cathedral. Members must be able to read music and previous handbell experience is recommended.

Each December, the handbell choir participates in Christmas at the Cathedral as part of St. Louis Cathedral Concerts.

They have also performed in the Concert Series at Second Presbyterian Church in the Central West End and have performed in Advent Programs and Handbell workshops.

Cathedral Ringers:

Prior ringing experience is not necessary.
Rehearsals will stress handbell skills which can be used to improve ringing abilities and develop ringers who can step into parish handbell choirs and the Archdiocesan Handbell Choir. High School students and Adults are welcome to learn the art of handbell ringing. The ensemble will ring at Sunday evening masses at the Cathedral and other events as requested. If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Nicole Heerlein at (314) 533-7662 or
