24TriangleLightedWEUCHARISTIC ADORATION

The Blessed Sacrament, the very presence of Christ’s body and blood in the Eucharist, is reserved in the tabernacle of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel to the east of the main sanctuary. At all hours the Cathedral is open, people may be found praying there before the Lord “face to face.” Each Saturday afternoon, beginning at 3:30 p.m., the Eucharist is displayed for prayer and adoration in public exposition in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel for a holy hour. Following this holy hour, the Evening Prayer of the Church with Benediction is celebrated. Additionally, the Blessed Sacrament is displayed for public adoration and prayer all day on the First Friday of the month, following the completion of the 8:00 a.m. Mass and until 4:30 p.m.
