Our Sacramental Life
Mass Times
ON SUNDAYS: The community gathers for Mass at 5 PM on Saturday evening; 8 AM, 10 AM, 12 noon, and 5 PM on Sunday. Except during the summer, our Cathedral Choir leads the sung participation at the 10 AM mass.
Daily: Mass is celebrated Monday through Friday at 7 AM, 8 AM, and 12:05 PM and on Saturdays at 8:00 AM
NOTE: special hearing devices for the hearing impaired and several wheelchairs for physically handicapped are available from an usher upon request
Holy Days: On Holy Days of Obligation, Mass is celebrated at 7 AM, 8 AM, 12:05 PM, and 5:30 PM. On Christmas and January 1st, Masses are celebrated at 5:00 PM the evening before, and at 8 AM, 10 AM, 12 noon on Christmas and January 1st.
Civil Holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day Mass is celebrated at 9 AM only. On Thanksgiving, Mass is celebrated at 10 AM only.
NOTE: It is the traditional practice of the Catholic Church that only baptized and practicing Catholics are invited to receive Holy Communion as a sign of our unity as Church.
Homebound: Our Clergy and the lay ministers in our Ministry of care will happily bring Holy Communion to any who are sick or otherwise restricted to home. Please call the Rectory at 314-373-8200 to make arrangements.
NOTE: If you are in need of immediate assistance from a Priest because of a death of a family member after office hours, or someone is in need of a priest because of an imminent death, please contact our emergency phone number at 314-533-3808. This number is for emergencies only! Please contact the Rectory office between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM if you need to schedule a meeting with a priest.
