Anthony of Padua was a Franciscan friar and a friend of Saint Francis of Assisi. He was such a powerful preacher that he changed the hearts of sinners and heretics. Known for his miracles, he was given the nickname “The Wonder Worker.” His feast day is June 13th and he is the patron saint of the poor and searchers of lost items.
