Ordination to the Transitional Diaconate

As he prepares to enter his final year before his ordination to the priesthood, Mr. Donald Morris will be ordained a transitional deacon at a ceremony here at the Cathedral Basilica on Saturday, May 1, 2021, with Archbishop Mitchell Rozanski presiding. 

The Ordination Ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. and a reception/receiving line for the newly ordained transitional deacon will be held in Boland Hall immediately following.

NOTE: This event is open to the public; all are welcome to attend the Mass of Ordination and reception.  No reservations are required, however the standard social distancing guidelines and mask requirements will be observed.
