Access to our collection must be arranged in advance and in writing. Requests should include the purpose of your research as well as an itemized list of the type of artifacts you wish to view. Requests may be submitted to:

Baptism, Confirmation, and/or Marriage Records
Historical records held at the Cathedral Basilica include registries containing baptism, marriage, and other sacramental records. To obtain a copy of your certificate of Baptism, Confirmation, and/or Marriage, please contact the parish office at 314-373-8202, or submit a written request to:

Any request for sacramental records must be accompanied by a copy of your driver's license (or the driver’s license of the parent or legal guardian if the sacramental record is for a minor). We will not release records without proof of identification. Certificates will be sent via regular mail unless otherwise requested.
