Rector Welcome

Dear Friend,

It gives me great pleasure as Rector to welcome you to the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis with the largest collection of mosaics in the world outside Russia.  The interior collectively contains 41.5 million tesserae pieces that make up the many mosaics that teaches the faith.

The Cathedral Basilica is a manifestation of the Church's mission to invite all who visit here to open their hearts to welcome Jesus.  It is my hope that everyone who visits or attends Mass at the Basilica will be drawn into a deeper love of Jesus Christ.

This website is intended to be the virtual door to the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis.
